Service Design Fellow, Boston Digital Service @ City of Boston
Boston, MA (remote) / October 2023 - current
Re-hired with the Boston Digital Service to continue ongoing service design work. Interviewed employees across a city department working towards economic equality to identify pain points and made recommendations for future projects and software interventions that are currently being carried out. Conducted a landscape analysis of the city’s affordable housing services, creating a database and visualization to be used to scope future projects. Co-facilitated a design methods workshop series, leading to wider understanding and interest in user-centered and service design methods.
User Research Fellow, Boston Digital Service @ City of Boston

Selected as part of the Civic Innovation Corp 2023 cohort through Coding it Forward. Fellowship experience included mentorship and training in the fields of civic design and civic technology. For the Boston Digital Service, I worked alongside 3 other fellows to analyze and redesign the city’s environmental justice data dashboard and led a team in creating the city’s first service blueprint. The dashboard is currently undergoing updates based on our recommendations and service design tools (like the blueprint) are being used more widely across Department of Innovation and Technology teams.
