Bottega - Language Learning for Neighborhoods

Bottega is a language-learning initiative that creates instances of multidirectional knowledge exchange between neighbourhood shopkeepers and residents. The service engages participants looking to improve their Italian and local shopkeepers and organizations who are looking to bring more visibility to their business. Neighhorhood shops host practical language learning sessions that include creative activities for participants to share their own knowledge back.

ethnographic research, qualitative interviews (expert and user), academic literature review, future scenario-building, research synthesis from local to systemic level, synthesis visualizations, design imperatives, co-design, role-play prototyping, in-field prototyping of experience and touchpoints, development of final touchpoints and overall experience for multiple user perspectives, visual and voice branding, business plan, video storytelling
